Nigeria’s American sweet heart is officially in the building. Born in Ibadan, Nigeria and raised in the United States, Elizabeth Damilola Adebayo is a force to behold with her exciting and fun personality, not to mention, her radiant smile and lovely voice.
Graduating from college with her B.A. in Mass Communication, Ms. Damilola has always known that she wanted to have a platform where she could inspire others with her words. While in college she was a radio host for her University’s radio station, WWSU 106.9 for 3 years. With her passion for the diverse culture within Africa, she became the President of her University’s African Student Union while in school. From there her passion for all things African grew tremendously and she knew that Afrikka radio was a great stepping stone into her profession.
When asked where she sees herself within the next 10 years, she says, “I hope to one day have my very own television talk show, but to also be a triple threat as an entertainer, business women, and global philanthropist. I believe that when God gives you a gift with words, it is not meant for you, but for those in the world who will be inspired by them.” As a co-host of Afrikka Radio’s Morning Talk Show, FuFu4Breakfast, Ms. Damilola is very excited about bringing the station’s listeners a talk show worth waking up for. Along side her co-host Ms. Jariatu, the dynamic duo give listeners the latest news, interesting topics, and fun filled antics.
